The Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers (CAPS) is delighted to announce the dates of the 2015 “Best Sommelier of Canada” Competition. Winners of the provincial CAPS chapters will be invited to compete for this prestigious title. The victor will be granted the honor of representing Canada at the Pan-American Sommelier Alliance (APAS) Competition to be held in Chile in April 2015 as well as the Association de la Sommellerie Internationale (ASI) World Best Sommelier Competition in Argentina, Spring 2016.
For the first time, we will have representation from Western Canada. The newly formed British Columbia chapter recently held their inaugural competition with resounding success.
