WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits (Wine Specialist)

This introductory wine course covers major grape varieties and where they are  grown around the world. Students are taught how to taste wine professionally using the WSET Systematic Approach to Tasting. The course will be of great interest to anyone employed in hospitality, as well as to wine enthusiasts who want to acquire in-depth knowledge of wine and spirits. Introductory restaurant service will also be covered. Graduates of the course will receive the certification: Jones & Company Wine Merchants Wine Specialist including the world renowned WSET level 2 Award in Wine and Spirits.

Jones & Company Wine Merchants Wine specialist 100/WSET Level 2 Award in Wines & Spirits/ is the first course leading to the Professional Sommelier Program.

9 classes(including exam) , 6:30 to approximately 9:00 p.m. at Jones & Company Wine Merchants.

cost: $795 + GST. Includes WSET exam fees, all materials, and a set of tasting glasses.
