Delve deep into the world of Italian Wine…
Italian Wine Scholar Unit 1: Northern Italy
The Italian Wine Scholar is the newest program of the Wine Scholar Guild whose mission is to create in-depth programs on the wines of France, Italy and Spain. All regions, not just the major or famous ones, are covered by these in-depth courses that include wines seldom, if ever, seen in our market.
There are no official prerequisites, but the Italian Wine Scholar is an advanced program and we strongly recommend prior instruction in wine tasting. The in-class program is supported by an excellent textbook and extensive on-line materials. Our French Wine Scholar program had rave reviews in 2015!Six three hour classes

WSET Level 3 Award in Wines “Intensive”

WSET L3 Wines provides a thorough understanding of the factors governing the style, quality and price of the main still, sparkling and fortified wines of the world. The “intensive” format is presented over 6 full-day classes and most students make a significant time commitment outside of class. We recommend getting and reading the study materials before the course begins. Level 2 Wines & Spirits is the recommended prerequisite. Visit WSET L3 Wines for more information on the L3 program.
